Online Safety Tips: Beware of Fake or Fraudulent Ads

We have recently been made aware of an increase in fake or fraudulent advertisements circulating on social media. These ads often appear to be from legitimate companies but are scams designed to deceive and steal personal and credit card information.

Be advised that Northern Reflections does not sell on any third-party sites. If you see an ad that looks “too good to be true”, it typically is, and you should be very cautious.

To protect yourself from these scams, please keep the following tips in mind:

  1. Verify the Source: Only interact with ads and offers from official websites and accounts. Ads and offers will exclusively come from www.northernreflections.com, via email from NRCustomer.Relations@NorthernReflections.com or from @northernreflections on social platforms Instagram & Facebook.
  2. Check the URL: Before clicking on any links, hover over them to check the URL. Fraudulent sites often have misspelled or unusual domain names.
  3. Email Verification: Check if the sender’s email address is from an official Northern Reflections domain. All communication, including order confirmation and shipping details, will come from Northern Reflections.
  4. Social Media Ad Warning: All legitimate ads on social media for Northern Reflections will come directly from Northern Reflections. Any other usernames using our product images or logos are fraudulent! Be vigilant and do not provide any contact or personal information and do not click on any links in this type of ad.
